Timing belt set on ebay
So, my car is due for maintenance. Its 2005 GSR with roughly 8xxxx miles. I called couple of shops around and got a quote for around $600. I was looking for some parts on ebay and came across these timing belt set.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/GMB-Water-Pu...JTfOdg&vxp=mtr
Are these good / completed timing belt kit? I have been doing some research, and it does seem like these parts are all the necessary components but not 100 percent positive if I missed out on something. Also, local shop suggested me to do all fluid (oil, transfer case, transmission, differential, coolant) as part of maintenance.
What do you guys think of the timing belt set?

$134 for everything? The OEM timing belt and balance shaft belt cost that by themselves. I would not touch that kit with a 10ft pole.
$600 is a great deal for timing belt job from a job. I'm not even sure why they're that cheap. All OEM components, except a gates water pump is $400 from ExtremePSI.

Thanks for the info. I do want to go with OEM components because they tend to be more reliable. It seems like no one really complaint about the GMB water pump so I will give it a try.

Minusprevious,
thanks for the link. I was debating between Gates or GMB but after reading that post, I am gonna go with GMB.

That kit and the other are not complete so it seems looks like it's missing a pulley and the most important part of the timing job being the hydrolic tensioner. Other than that I see no issue in the components. I've put a few gates complete kits on Turbo Subarus. Kits cost ~200 with water pumps. No failures or install issues noted to date!!
I believe Gates now has a complete kit for the Evo as well. None of the GMB kits on eBay show the hydrolic tensioner, obviously you can and will need to buy that separately. I would never not replace the Hydrolic Tensioner on a timing component job.

The gates hydraulic tensioner fails. They switched to an aluminum body for it, and it breaks...
