3m tint help

3m tint help

I got 3m tint and the shop said after 2 weeks I should be able to wipe off the little 3m logos on the film.

Its now been 3 weeks and I just tried to use a glass cleaner w/out amonia and they won't come off.

Does anybody have 3m tint and know if this logo will come off?

I used rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball on my previous car. I don't know why some tinters leave the logos on there.

I took mine off the second i got it on? its been fine ever since.. i wasnt aware we were suposed to keep it on for a while after the install!

mine came right off with rubbing alcohol

The guy that tinted my windows took the 3M off my windows when he finsihed the car. Take it back and have them take it off. That way if they mess it up they have to fix it. You mess it up and your paying them to do it again.

The shop should have wiped it off for you. Maybe try Goof-off?

alcohol. comes right off. the guy that did mine gave me little wep-naps soaked in alcohol that 3M provided for that purpose. I left a little logo in an inconspicous spot just so I could prove it was 3M tint for warranty (on tint) purposes.

I agree. The place that did mine removed them as well. I watched him and although I don't know what he used they appeared to come off very easily.

Mine was the same way - they gave me an alcohol soaked napkin to use after a week.
