That you have to kind of pull hard on it to get it to come loose.

My question, is the top molded to the bottom (the pad like thing) The donor car had air bags deployed. My dash has plastic damage above the glove box. I wanted to mind meld them together.

Not trying to thread jack but you guys seem like the only ones who might know. Can you get to the pugs for the passenger side air bag without removing the whole dash?

Oh the dilemma of not trusting the factory techs yet not wanting to risk turning your DD into a rattle trap, maybe it's best to risk flying shrapnel to your face on impact afterall.

This actually isn't all wrong took me 35 mins pulling the dash for the first time. But i also do this for a living as well.Thanks for the info.
