Has the frount clunking issue ever been solve?
03 evo brand new tein coilovers. Have a clankin sound in my right front whenever I hit some sort of bump. Had the front tires off recently with the car up in the air and everything looks ok. So iv been reading through the forum here and people are pretty much saying it's just an evo thing that comes back when you think you fixed it.

Not sure what you might have done for torque specs but the top front coils I did 60lbs and rear was 40lbs.
My car had an issue with a loud noise after coilover install. I just figured it out as to why my car was acting over sensitive. When I installed my coilovers I had not installed them correctly when doing ride height. My issue came when inspecting the coils and found driver side was more compressed than passenger side. I had too much tension on one spring and every time I went over a 5pmh speed bump the car would make a loud bang. Now the issues are fixed and the car is great, couldn't be happier. Look at the pics below and focus on the bottom of the coilovers.

Alright al check it out next time it's in the air. I had a car once that was clunking just like this one and I took a can of wd40 with me. Spayed things 1 by 1 until I found the one that shut up when it got oil. I'm not driving the car much now so no biggie ATM.

Well figured it out. Whoever put the coils in didn't do a very good job. I tightened all the lock rings a while ago. Now I just had to tighten the top nut. Was pretty loose.
