need help on power antenna blue wire

Hi, i have a s920 ad the power antenna blie wire is supplying 12v when i turn on the car key. My previous alpine only supply 12v on this wire when i turn on the unit to radio. Is it new design or my unit is faulty? Now my antenna is raise when i start my car even the unit is off.

You need to run power straight from your car battery to your amp, NOT from the antenna wire. The remote wire for amp needs to be connected to the blue/wht wire from head unit and the black wire from amp needs to be grounded to car chassis.

I believe you have misunderstand my query... I'm connecting my power antenna to Blue wire, whenever i turn on my car key, the antenna raise(blue wire supplied 12v). For my previous Alpine, blue wire only supplied with 12v when the unit is turn on to radio mode. Just wonder is my unit is faulty or new design, so if you can check for me yours it will be good.

Thanks,

I was going to see what other options I had for mounting the rear cam. Im going to take a look at it some more this weekend and see if I could come up with something. I still might order the lic plate mount.
If you do a quick search on Amazon there are a lot of "headrest mount" options for various devices. There are also some decent DIY rigs out there too. I'm sure you could adapt one of them to fit your cam needs.
