AMS Fuel Rail Intalled... leaking like no other

I installed my AMS Fuel Rail today. Started it and let it run and the car was fine. Took my car out to get food and came back and could smell the gas from my cabin with the windows down. Not sure what I did wrong and can't get anyone to look at it till Tuesday, so in the meantime any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

yes and it took like half a tank to drive 20 mins round trip.

The injectors won't stay in the rail, that's the problem. Any advice?

well when ur takin fuel rails off and injectors it is ruff on the orings.. its an old trick to put some vasaline around the orings/seals it still seals but keeps it soft so it doesnt tear wnd whatnot when going in or coming out.. i suggest u check all your seals.. but it sounds like somthing isnt lined up right.. just pull it off check seals and orings then take your time and install it again.. or located the leak first.

Agreed. In installs like this it is almost always the O-Rings or the way the injectors didn't seat right. Go around and inspect each injector, look at each corresponding O-Ring and reposition it. For a half of a tank in only 20 mins this thing must be leaking serious fuel. Sure you hooked the rail up right? Tightened all connections for the return and feed lines? No extra port you forgot to bolt up or close? Some of those aftermarket fuel rails have an optional port for some aftermarket fuel, etc.

That thing is losing some serious gas on the road...

this happened to a friend's car before and it was the injector seals. didn't lose that much fuel but you can definitely smell it. good thing nothing caught on fire.

Fuel leaks are dangerous! always stop the car immediately if fuel is leaking.
