When the dip comes off the rims, do they look just like they did before they were sprayed? or does it have negative effects on the paint?

they look exactly how thye looked before getting dipped... when i was putting the rims back on the car i accidentally made contact with the rim where the lug nut is located and it literally just rubbed off. i just sprayed it again and it covered it up!

With plasti-dipping the wheels while on the car, have you tried taking off the wheel since? In other words, did you plasti-dip the wheel/lugs onto the hub? Wonder how hard it will be to take off or what will happen to the plasti-dip once you torque the lugs off.

What about the insides of the wheels. Do you just leave them the silver color?

plasti-dip is really soft and flexible, even if you did, it wouldn't be noticeable or stuck at all. one potential issue though because of the softness/flexibility, is that every time you have your wheels taken off, you're probably going to have scratches on the lug holes. but like someone said, you'd just spray some more on.

I think the wheels look really good, plastidip is the perfect color/texture

I did mine as well a few months ago and they came out nice. They also held up great BUT they can not handle tire changes. There is to much force on the edge of the wheel while changing the tires. Since I change tires a lot I found this wasn't for me and just had them powder coated.

Here is my evo 8 mr bbs plasti-dipped

I'm planning on it. I just don't know if work is going to cooperate.

PlastiDip is awesome. It works awesome on cars!

If any of you guys play hockey, I use this to add grip to my stick too. Works very good and is very durable, even with my hands constantly moving and slashes/ puck encounters. I can get a video link if anyone is interested.
