Loose e-brake handle?

Ok so this has been going on for a while now but never really paid attention to it. Basically, I have noticed that my e-brake handle seems really loose. When I say really loose I mean maybe 4-5 clicks on the release button up it is basically free play. What could cause this, I was thinking it could possibly be cable stretch or something along those lines. If so, is there anything I can do to tighten the brake back up. I rarely use it (CVT tranny) but I'd like to know it will work when I need it.

Also, it does actually work, meaning it will lock up the wheels, it is just very loose.

eh, adjust the e-brake cables on the R/R wheel, behind the rotor.
