There are lots of 2 door AWD performance cars. They do cost a ton of $ though.

Can you get the 335i x in a manual? The other cars aren't even close to being in the same league price or performance wise. I guess I should have specified in the same price range as an evo. You can get a used 911 or maybe a gtr if you shop around for awhile for the money but the others are $$$.

To put the power down, Ford will employ an entirely new AWD system intended for high-output applications. It's not the same system employed on the Fusion, Escape, and MKZ. The new system will employ torque vectoring front and rear to aid handling, and after debuting in the Focus RS it will trickle down to other applications.

It's a shame that all AMG M157 engine cars do not have manual. It's also a shame that nearly all high performance American cars are RWD. I would love it if there are AWD Vipers and AWD Corvettes.

I've always thought that American cars always took the "safe" route when it comes to engineering.
If these pushrod V8's are so light compared to our turbo 4 (with all the dressings, intercooler, etc) then why won't they build a performance based AWD car with one?
If the V8 torque is so bad on an AWD car why can Evo's make more torque and not break axles & transmissions every day?
Imagine a turbo 3.5 liter small high-revving V8 at 3500lbs with AWD and a manual transmission with a short wheelbase, short gearing, and an independent suspension meant for corners.... The American GTR Killer.
Won't happen though and I'll continue to buy foreign turbo AWD cars.
