SST TCU flash question

I have a 2008 MR and I have all the necessary tools to flash my TCU. I've read about noticeable improvements to the 08 MR in particular when upgrading the firmware.

I was looking at the following thread
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/09...h-testers.html

I noticed the "8631A749.CFF" refers to S/W version 8631A3790C

The software version of my SST is 8631A3790B

Is there a way to backup my existing TCU firmware so i'm able to roll back if anything goes wrong?

I'm thinking of going to either B001 or B151. Any recommendations on a particular TCU?

Thanks
