60k service...

It's getting to be that time for me and I was wondering if some seasoned veterans on here could give me an idea of what all I need. I've seen various 60k service kits from mitsuparts and lancer shop, etc, but none of them really hone in on EVERYTHING that is listed in the service manual. With that being said, here's what I've done recently:

New plugs
New trans fluid
Front diff fluid
Oil change

I have coolant, I know I need the belts but can someone help specify on what exactly needs to happen here? I've used the search bar and haven't really found anything that answers my questions. If someone finds a thread and can direct me to it that would be greatly appreciated otherwise I'm looking for answers to what all I need and if there's any tips, hints, or tricks that will help while I'm performing this maintenance. Thanks fellas!

I'm at 108k right now, didn't do my water pump with the tbelt @ 60. Changed my tstat at 90k along with the clutch (again) and haven't had a single drip from the wp. Weird. I'll be doing it for sure at my 120k though. Mitsu WIN.

With how expensive the water pump is for an IX I would wait until it went out or 120k to do it (assuming you do all the work youself, then its just time) but with the VIII the gates pump is cheap enough to just do while you're in there.

I'm with you Owen, I didn't do my WP at 60k either (my buddy who works for Mitsu suggested against it) and haven't had a single problem. Haven't replaced my Tstat either.

My 60k I changed the plugs, did the timing belt and accessory belts, tranny fluid, transfer case fluid and rear diff fluid, coolant flush and fuel injector service. Still runs perfectly fine and doesn't leak anything.

No homo but I'm developing an intimate relationship with my Evo and aside from tuning I plan on doing the majority of all the work myself.

Are you implying sudden mechanical breakdown? Or constant skirt lifting?

Just called around for 60k quotes.

Dealership: ~1500
Local Shop: ~1900

Wish I had the tools/knowhow to do the work myself.

please do, is the 60k service possible to do without pulling the motor? i want to do mine myself but it seems a little intimidating because of the balance shaft/ pulley/ belt. seems easy to screw something up. this is the one service ive been nervous to perform myself.
