Kracka's 4th Annual Shreveport Cruise - June 21-22, 2014

Dates: Saturday, June 21st through Sunday, June 22nd
Meeting Time: 7:30AM
Meeting Location: Einstein Bagels - Dallas, TX
Destination: Downtown Riverfront - Bossier City, LA
Total Distance: ~600 miles (roundtrip)
Hotel: http://www.margaritavillebossiercity.com/
Margaritaville will be the official NTEC hotel. Room prices start at $229/night on Expedia. We'll have tons of fun as a group Saturday night; first dinner at the Margaritaville Restaurant (awesome Volcano Nachos & Loaded Landsharks!), then drinking/gaming in the casinos and other local establishments within walking distance, and finally meet back up Sunday morning for breakfast buffet (optional of course) before heading home.
The exact route is going to remain private to prevent law enforcement from staking it out (yes, it's happened), but will the same as last year's route that everyone loved! Maps of the exact route will be provided to all drivers the morning of the cruise; this will ensure everyone knows exactly where we're going just in case the group happens to get separated. We will make regrouping stops as required to keep everyone together though and we have a BBQ lunch spot about halfway through. It should be a very fun and scenic route taking us through three national forests! Sunday morning will be an easy < 3 hour drive home on Hwy 20.
Unfortunately E85 stations will not be available outside DFW until Bossier City, LA so please make alternate arrangements whether it be carrying spare jugs in your trunk or switching over to a pump gas tune when needed. If you're tuned on E85 please make sure to have the appropriate tune or OTS map loaded into your Accessport or laptop so you can switch over quickly at a gas station.
Everyone is welcome to join so please feel free to bring your spouse, kids, friends, etc! I hope to see all the regulars plus some new faces
