WORKS STG1 Clutch
Hi,
It is time for a new clutch soon as my OEM one is finally starting to slip every now and then with 40k miles on it. Car makes a bit over 360whp/350wtq but will be a tad higher soon (probably in the ~380whp/380wtq range) Car is mainly used for daily driving, autoX, and HPDE's. So I want something still comfortable but capable at the track. Car is very rarely ever launched but it does happen on occasion.
With that in mind I feel the STG1 is what would apply to me. I want to know some info on this clutch though. What is the pressure plate clamping force? I would also like to know who manufactures this clutch for you. Is this a Daiken made clutch? This is also available with an unpainted pressure plate correct? Still have my warranty for another ~2yrs and want to keep it that way. I would appreciate the info.
