My new 03 OZ
I'm in the beginning stages, but, I've put on these voxx rims, taken the decals off the trunk, put in an aem cold air intake, and put on a greddy evo2 cat back exhaust. Someone wanted me to post pics, so here they are, also, if you want to hear what my exhaust sounds like, here are 2 videos of it.

ok, i bought the bypass valve and it is here, my only question is...
in the directions, it states not to place it between the throttle body and maf... ok check
can i place the bypass valve on the maf adapter after the maf, where the down pipe starts? the rubber fittings on the valve are the same as the rubber fitting you see on my downpipe with the aem stickers on it. this would be more ideal for me than cutting the pipe.

I've been running a CAI with no bypass valve for years with no problems. Tell you the truth, I've never read a thread here where someone has hydro-locked their engine (doesn't mean there hasn't been one). Since you ordered it, I'd say install it but as long as you drive carefully I'd say its unnecessary.
edit: Here's a link to AEM install instructions. On the last page it shows a picture of where you should install your bypass valve

i was trying to avoid cutting the intake, i am trying to find anyone who can tell me why it wouldnt work by placing it on the MAF adapter that came with the CAI. It seems to me that it would do the same thing there as it would if i was to cut the pipe and place it 5 inches lower. Anyone ever tried this?
