For that style of taillight, is the backup light in the red, or is it in the clear part?

I always wondered that when I seen that style, when I was still looking for tails myself.

So I guess only the little red circle would be the turn signal then?

It was funny because I wondered the same thing as well so I had my mom sit in the car and hit the turns and brakes and what not. But yeah clear is the reverse and the smaller circle is the turn

With the ****ty *** weather I have been having on my days off I havent been able to do anything so hopefully tomorrow its nice and with a quick trip to home depot for a rivet gun the surprise may finally be on the car. Also just ordered some smoked out reflectors and side markers so those should be here and on by next week. Also shopping around for a new short shifter as I type this bc im tired of the crappy ebay one I have. Thinking about picking up the megan racing havent decided yet on that. Slowly getting there!

Slow and steady seems to be the norm when it comes to working on our lancers. Something always comes up and you're never able to put the time in you want too.

Can't wait to see some updates

So of course my luck couldnt find my dads power drill today and wasnt able to get the project done but I washed her up and figured I would add a few pictures. Thinking about losing the VG and picking up a rear visor instead kinda like that look on the oz better. Defintely need to do some touch ups with the paint all over the car I didnt realize had bad the clips are on the hood. Need some help deciding on what to save for next. Already saving for the coils but figured I would start saving for something else as well. Stuck between get the RRM grill, getting a full NRG steering wheel kit (hub, quick release, and wheel) or getting a new Cat and headers and exhaust. Suggestions?

Finally had nice weather on anday off so was finally able to get the surprise on my car

The install was definitely a fun time. Having a father who must take charge on everything and having him rush through it all could have been worse but everything is good and they are amazing. Couldn't be happier since I have been using a piece of wood to hold the hood up for the last year. Also went in for an oil change and came out finding I need some serious work to thecad done. Front lower arms are bad and apparently my rear sway bar is broke? Still learning about cars slowly so not sure if my mechanic is blowing smoke or what

I was thinking about getting those myself. Seeing your post regarding them just made the decision easier.

Thanks

Looking good man. The hood supports are slick. Not really a fan of those rectangle fog lamps you had, Personally I like round ones with a black frame and clear lens.

As for suggestions, I would go for the cat/headers/exhaust first. The RRM Grille is nice enough, but with a blacked out stock one, the lancer looks good too.
