long time no T...

Been a while since I've been on here, how is everybody? So between driving my ladies car and riding my bike everywhere I haven't had much time to put into the lancer lately. But hopefully I can change that soon. heres a current picture...

As you can see she looks a little naked under the hood. Might be another snail making its way under there soon. (;

Almost done.. Just drilling out some spot welds and removing some unnecessary brackets under the hood as well as doing a full wire tuck while I wait for my new wideband o2 sensor and air filter to arrive.

Actually some homies of mine started up a performance fabrication shop if there own called GS Werks.. It here in Lancaster. we just modified the road race down pipe to have a little more bend on it as well as made it a little shorter since now its a bottom mount turbo manifold as opposed to the top mount road race setup i had before.. then added a wastegate recirc pipe. also ceramic coated the entire downpipe. then had to weld an elbow onto my radiator so that my wastegate would clear the upper radiator hose. also pulled the bottom of my radiator forward about an inch and the top forward about a half inch to allow more room for the turbo. also adding steel braided water lines with banjo fitting for everything to the turbo since rrm never supplied them with their kit. which makes absolutely no sense since its an oil AND water cooled turbo.. If its designed to have oil AND water cooling it, then it needs to have oil AND water cooling it! period! only going to be pushing the 11lbs like i was before since ill be running the same tune for the time being. Im thinking that the 204whp and 214wtq i put down before should be pretty similar to the power im going to put down now, but with the exception of less turbo lag thanks to the equal length manifold,

shes running and pulling hard. actually a little too hard! dude I bought my new tial mvs from said it has a black 8psi spring but when i did a pull today it boosted to 13-14psi. Im only tuned for 11psi so As soon as the boost went that high if felt it bog. didnt get a chance to look down at my wideband before i let off but im sure it probably leaned out. lucky for me I ordered my 10.15psi springs yesterday before i even figured this out. Power will be pretty close to what I was making before on my previous. still running the same turbo and tune. should be around 205whp and 215wtq. I have a dyno chart posted in my build thread from years ago. its still stock internals, I do plan on going with a bigger ball bearing turbo and forged internals after i find a new house and move. heres a couple pictures as she sits now.

Talk about heat soak.

Congrats on modifying the rrm kit and giving it new life. I remember mine, looking back I wonder WTF were they thinking with it.
