removing headlight signal
how do you remove the orange turnsignal in the headlights?I heard you can put the headlights in the stove for a certain amount of time then remove the front cover then take out the orange light and then put the cover back on...Would that even work?
i did my Accord headlights.. we preheat the oven to 375 with a pan of water at the bottom, turn off the oven and shove the headlight inside.. wait 2 minutes and then took it out.. ply it apart a bit and then shove it back in.. repeat until you can peel the whole headlight apart..
you might have to reheat the oven again WITHOUT the headlight if the temperature drops too low

I've done this twice on my car. Do what sillypuddy says, it works great. Make sure the headlights don't touch the hot grill, place them on a cookie sheet. To reseal them afterwards, you can either reheat them a second time and press them together or add a beed of clear silicone along the seam. I personally just reheated and repressed them back together and haven't had a problem since.
Or you could use a heat gun. If you don't have access or can't afford one, the oven is the next best thing. I've seen this done many times. Personally, when i painted my GTI headlights I used a hair dryer and it seemed to work okay with a little muscle. Just use silicone to seal it up afterwards.
Heat gun is the slowest way of opening the light. U burn yourself and once u get one part melted and try to go and melt another part the previous parts joins back together. It is very hard to get it all heated all unifromly at the same time. Oven is the best bets. Also u might wanna experiement with different temps because different ovens give out different intensity of heat.
