RATTLING please help!!

Has anyone taken off the peice around the liscence plate. I it is rattling horribly with my subs and I was wondering if anyone has ever taken it of and if there is room to put dynamat behind it. It looks pretty simple to come off but just wanted to make sure before I messed anything up. I tried dynamat all behind (were I could reach) but it will not stop. Thanks

Have you already dynamatted your license plate? I've done that and am not getting a rattling from that area. That part should be fairly simple to remove, though, just a few bolts.

i think he means the console that holds the plate... you know that area with the key hole. i dont recommend you doing that becase no matter what everything else in the car will shake rattle then roll off.... lol.

thanks...it is the piece w/the keyhole...ive taken the plate off and it is the piece behind it that rattles horribly...i was just wondering if it was easy to take off and if there was room behind it for dynamat, or even padding...I HATE rattles. I know it will always rattle but if I can tone it down , that would be better
