?!? You mean like on snow tires? I didn't know they could do that to existing tires! That's a great idea. How much did they ask for that?

Maybe the Goodyears can at least be changed into almost tolerable winter tires...

yeah, we get some decent snow down here. nothing comparted to canada im sure, but a lot of jersey is split either all highway or all backwoods.....so eitherway you need really good tires.

mitsugirl where about on the parkway you hit everyday. I'm on the parkway everyday from 287 on ramp to exit 117.

Best way to go about it IMO.

And nowdays, most tires say M+S on them... even my P-Zero Nero do!!! But I can tell you, there is no way on earth you're gonna drive on those in the snow (any ammount of the said substance) and keep all of the paint on the car! So I alwaysuse steelies and good winter tires (Pirelli's this time around... GREAT hanling, I was very surprised).

Well whenever they are worn out. I'd never be able to wear out a set of tires in 2 years, so just depends how much you drive and how hard you drive.

snow tires on stock ralliart rims, performance summer tire on 18". I"ve used the blizzak tires the past 2 years, really great the first year, and ok the second year. This winter i'm gonna try the toyo winter tires as that 's what everyone is recommending. I just hope they don't cost me $800 like the blizzaks did. Looking at prices online, tires are alot cheaper in the US than they are here in Canada. I wonder how much 8 huskies and a dog sled costs?
