How do you remove wax from creases?

I did a pretty sloppy wax job a couple of months ago (really globbed the stuff on) because I wanted to protect my paint from the sun, acid, etc.

But I have a bunch of wax residue in my creases (in between body panels), which looks pretty bad when you are close up. What's the best way to remove this without damaging anything? Q-tip with goo-gone?
