I took a look and the box I found was this "caution surface is hot" box in red and black. Is that the one?

that looks different to my car lights computer, maybe because is 2006 RA, in Puerto Rico the 2006 RA is the only wich have day time running lights

ok, so inside the front ecu we have what looks like 5 relays, 1pcb, 2 ic's and then a bunch of misc crap. what do you remove or add to disable the DRL's?

my ecu just have a plug connected to a board, and this plug has 4 wires i disconect one of them, let me check to be sure what wire is

your PR might stilll be similar to our Canadian versions. We also have factory DRL built in =(. But I couldn't find the plug either..

sorry man but i was looking the pic of your ecu, and i dont have an idea, it does not look a little similar to mine, i dont know if it works like mine, but my DRL are controled by a computer (the board conected to the plug) i think you should need to go with a good electro-mechanic

hey black rally, which wire did you unhook
today my green ecu came in from ebay so i could disable them, so i decied to solve this once and for all, and took pictures of the inside of my red ecu.

damm man right now i'm not surebut i think that was the white one, but i don do it, my electro mechanic do the job, and he told me that he need to make a jumper

Finally, some good pictures! Excellent.

Should just be a jumper from the pin for the collector on the FET to the pin for the emitter. The white wire is the base, which controls the FET. All it does is allow power to flow from the collector pin to the emitter pin. Unplug the FET completely, and put a jumper between where the red and blue wires plug in.

Morpheus, can you try that and let us know?

well, id rather not fry the one and only red box i have lol. if black rally could open his up and grab some more pictures that would be cool.
also, if you need any REALLY high res pictures i can take them at much higher resolutions.
