Try a front ECU from an '04 or '05. It's the green box under a cover just aft of your battery, along with the relays for the headlights and other accessories.

Otherwise, you can install it on your high beam, and then wire a simple switch to ground the fog light relay, and have complete control over your fog lights. I did, fogs and high beams at the same time is nice on unlit backroads.

I have HIDs installed on my 04 ralliart. It does take away the highbeam functionality and I am in canada and have the DRLs in. When the headlights are in the "off" position and in DRL mode, the relays from the HIDS click like crazy from the half wattage. So I either drive in highbeam mode or have the HIDs on all the time. I do the latter because we are required to have DRLs on in Canada. But seeing that you have it wired that way Myszkewicz can you give me a push in the right direction on how you did that? Or how I can make my fogs my drls so I can keep the headlights in the "off" switch without the clicking or would that be internally programmed in the ECU?

The switch I wired in just grounds the same pin on the foglight relay that the front ECU would ground to turn the fogs on. IIRC, it was the LR pin on the relay, but I can double-check that for you if you need me to.

I can make a post about how I have it wired now, and also how I plan on re-wiring it when it gets a little warmer out. The way it is now, if the wire from the relay to my switch gets shorted out, my fogs will stay on until my battery dies. Not the best way to do things.

ok its easy

the day time running lights are controlled by a computer wich is located in the fuse box, when u open the fuse box you will see a little plastic part bigger than the other wich said caution blablablabla, just open it carefully and inside you wil find a plug conected to a board this is the computer that control your lights

once you have it open just prove with a tester wich cable of the plug control the day time running lights and disconect it from the plug

i recomend to gave this work to a good electro-mechanic

I took several close-up pictures of the insides of my front-ECU when I was trying to figure out how to make the foglights work any time. I'd be interested to see what changes there were from '04 to '06, and from US to Canada.
