Heres the deal, on day, my moon roof got jammed,
doesnt want to open, or go up,
i can here something mechanical tryign to moved above my head, but no luck

any one have this problem,
i mean the car is only 2 years old with 36k miles.......i'm starting to doubt my car

let em know your ideas.

mine does something like that...it will go up but it wont go open...i have to reach out the window and push down on it to get it to move...don't know if thats any help...whats ur exact mileage...if ur still under 36 then just take it to mitsu

 

its passed the warrenty for mitsu, they told me it was the motor, and its like a 300 dollar part,
mine doesnt move at all, i hear the motor tryign to do something, some whining noise, but no action.........

 

yah they get stuck a lot when trying to fully retract them because the rubber lining gets in the way. it is under warranty and they bassically slap some wd40 on the rubber so it slids down easily.

 

You're supposed to lube the sunroof seal with silicone grease every so often. I do mine in the Spring and again in the Fall. My sunroof has never given me any problems.

 

how do i get to the sunroof seal,
yeah in arizona it gets pretty hot,

i will take a look at it later
