"blue batmobile" taillight tint. Around $30 USD shipped, and looks sick. Do a search on him.

Just in case you aren't sure how much of a difference is in the 3/10 and 6/10 from BlueBatmobile her are some pictures of the G35 overlays. The top one is 3/10 and the bottom is 6/10.

Don't forget that we have clear lenses already so the 3/10 will show up a little better on our car than it does on the G35. I think the 6/10's would look the best though.

i was looking for like a smoked look.. not really like super black where you can't see much.. i just really hate the altezza style lights.. and also on the spray tints.. my friend used them and they have a weird texture on the tail light afterwards..

Isn't window tint a hard film? How can you make it stick onto the plastic housing. I tried using the soft vinyl, but those use "static" to stick themselves, meaning you would have to wrap the whole tails. That's kinda messy. Does anyone know where I can buy soft vinyl with adhesive backing? Thanks.

i was thinking about using window tint, but i don't think it'll be able to take the curves of the taillights. worth a shot though

Window tint won't last. It's not designed for the exterior and isn't durable. It'll take no time for it to start chipping and tearing.

On my Talon front headlight "covers" (which also have turn signals in them) I used standard gloss black paint from my nearest auto store. It has been on there for 2 years and has not chipped. I tried "smoke color" and it took about 35 coats and 16 hours of drying. Waste of time.

Put on super light coast of gloss black (2 light coats max).

You have to understand how hard it is to black out the lights completely, it takes many coats. The lights are super bright, especially at night. Even a light black coat looks dark, but light easily passes through it.

No one seems to believe I did it with my Talon, but it works...though I have not tried it with my EVO, I believe results would be identical.
