Alright, first time I've posted here in 4 years, awesome. I'm moving to California in a little over a week, driving of course from Florida. California requires front license plates, which Florida doesn't. My '05 Ralliart's front bumper has 2 little dots that line up with the holes in the front bracket, problem is I can't really get behind the bumper without taking it off. Do I really have to take off the bumper to install a ****ing license plate bracket ?

In Quebec we don't need front plates but i do have a JDM front plate, and beleive it or not I'm using Velcro lol. Works awesome and no holes in my bumper

For you, yoa, bumper will have to come off if you need to get back there

Not at all. If you use the OEM plate bracket, nothing is needed but a drill.

The plate bracket uses rubber sleeves with nuts molded into the end of them. Drill the two holes, slide them in, and as you tighten down the bracket to the sleeved nuts, the rubber expands and keeps the plate bracket on tight.

The most important thing is to make sure you use the proper sized bit to drill through your bumper, that's something you'll want to talk to your dealer about as I cannot remember off the top of my head.
