Got my GT2 kit!

I recieved my Accolade GT2 kit yesterday. I'm getting it painted by a friend, and it should be done and put on sometime next week.. Shipping was good, and for the most part the product was looks great. I have a few questions for Accolade and a few comments. First off, why were the back bumper and side skirts painted yellow, and the front bumper primered? I thought that was alittle weird. A quick comment though, on the back bumper, there is a little chip that looks like a flaw in the molding. I can fix it with bondo though, just thought I'd let you know though. But for the most part, I'm very satisfied with the product I recieved. I hope it all fits as good as it looks on the web site. I'll let everyone know how it turns out, and I'll post pics when it's painted and on.

Also, I'm selling my stock front bumper and stock side skirts. They're Labrador Black. I would sell the rear bumper, but on my way home to order my bodykit, I got rear ended, ha. Anyway, just thought I'd rant for a bit about the kit.

Front Fits Perfect.

Side Skirts Front Tire wall you have to bolt and rear pop rivet. Remember near the door sills you need to put double tape from the front door to the rear door section
so that side skirts get sealed well and will have a OEM Apperance.

Rear bumper - Rear Bar has to be removed.

Any problems email us any time on sales@body-kit.com just mention your are forum member.

regards

Accolade

Accolade - So with the GT and Evo Front bumper - is it REQUIRED to remove the rebound bar?

ACCOLADE, when you said to use the double sided tape, do i do it actually under the car (where the three peaces copme out of the skirt where you fasten it to the car), or on the side of the car, under the skirts (if the skirt goes over any part of the side)? I haven't gotten to line everything up yet, so I'm not sure about where you're talking about. Also, where can I get some double sided tape like what you're talking? Any special brand you reccomend?

To everyone else, I'll definatly post pics when it's on. It'll be on Wednesday of next week.. So expect pics sometime late next week. My future exterior plans are the evo 8 wing, and 18" gloss black BSA 259's with a chrome lip. Goin' blacked out completly. 5% tint, black car, black wheels, it's gonna look good.. Also, I'll remove that annoying stock pinstripe. I just thought about that today, so it'll be gone like, tomorrow.

Yeah, my kit came yellow AND pink... ....imagine that! Mine doesn't get on 'till sometime next week also. I'm glad you asked those questions so I can give the shop a better heads up (nothing they prolly wouldn't figure out anyway I suppose.....). Then I gonna pick up my new personal plates and hit tha streetz like the firery phoenix!

In other news, got into a conversation with an Evo owner at a stoplight last week....said he thought the Ralli was cool, but methinks he was just being polite to a fellow Mitsu driver.....oh well!

Picture of the Side Skirts. underside the side skirt which fixes near the door you get inner support. Its over there you got to paste the double tape.

Usually i think 3 M double tape is the best , any comments ?

GTv2 FB Is US spec
RB is Asian Spec

Evo 8 conversion - All Parts Asian Spec.

All Parts will fit on the US car when the rear bar is removed.
