All i gotta say is why is everyone trying to make their lancer look like an evo. If you wanted an evo , you should have bought one. On the red one the wing and hood look nice, but still. Does anyone think the way i do on this one. And i agree what was stated above. Engine first ...... dont worry so much about cosmetics. Cause if you can pull up to the line on someone on the streets and whoops their @ss while still looking stock. Tats what its all about.

sorry if this is going to be really rude and mean BUT i don't care. i have to say it!

how about you go pound sand! i can't speak for everyone but i know a lot of ppL i have come accross with an RA can't afford an evo and same goes for me. I would LOVE to have an evo but i can't afford an evo. plus say for a min i can afford an evo, my car insurance would go up sky high, and on top of a car payment. nope, can't afford an evo right now. so, i will just hook my RA too look like an evo so f' anyone who says or tells me other wise. i really don't care about engine mods. it is really gay and stupid to hook ma car up to be super fast with horsepwer because i only drive my car back and forth to work and school. my car is fast enough for where i go and have to drive to. it's not like i'm going to race my car back and forth to work and school.
peace

Agreed.

If I wanted my whip to look like an EVO, I would have gotten the EVO kit. With the GT2 kit and no badges, a lot of people don't even know what I'm pushin'. That was my goal....to have something that didn't resemble anything.

Why worry about getting pulled up on anyway? Are egos really that fragile nowadays? I know where my whip is on the "food chain"...so I respect the big fish and eat the little ones (come here you little CIVICS!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAA!!). I think my car is plenty fast stock...not so much on top speed but more than quick enough to leave somebody at the light and get in and out of traffic without worries. To put all that money into engine mods to increase the odds of getting tickets?

No thanks......Besides, in the V-Town, it's about rolling slow and getting jocked, not zoomin' around getting clocked, ya digg?

FROZEN.

i dunno, maybe i'm making a bigger issue out of this then i should, but com'on! you can't be that stupid when making a comment like that and not know the reason a lot of people don't buy an evo is probably because they can't afford it. i'm sure a lot of us RA drivers would love to own an evo. i think that was just really rude by what he said. i dunno!

feel free to comment on anything that i said if you don't agree on.

peace

i feel the same way, for someone who drives my car 75 miles a day to college, and 75 miles home from college, EVERYDAY, i can't afford to void my warranty. besides, some of us aren't into engine mods, i'm into show more than anything as a matter of fact. sure it'd be nice to be turbo, but with my new gt2 kit, and my custom audio/video system (that i did myself i might add), i get a lot more looks, which is what i enjoy.

Amen, brother......all this modding and modding, then filling up on expensive azz racing fuel to pull fast times at the track.....FOR FREAKING WHAT!?! If I had like retirement time and money on my hands......then maaaaaaaaaaaaybe. Other than that, I just don't feel like the bragging rights is worth all that you have to go through to get them.

hi all
well as im in the design faze of my car and BODY KITS arent there im looking to go with YES the GTv2 kit, no im not going with the evo spoiler and such but hay thats me, props to you all going for the evo look if you like that look, i think that wing is cool but just not me BUT YES im going with a after market evo spoiler though so if im going to be looking like an evo then so be it. I DONT CARE its my car and how i hook it up is my buisness and if i want to go fast then ill get a turbo ooooo yea i could have gotten an evo BUT i wouldnt be able to afford all that up keep on it with the payments and insurance plus i would have torn that car apart anyways didnt like the HARD seats ect anyways so dont go out and tell some one to purchase an evo if they wanted to start with something a LITTLE MORE TAME like an AWSOME RA

oh yeah, no doubt! you have an excellent point and i should of mentioned that too. i think a lot of people that are new to mitsubishi cars and never owned a mitsubishi car should deffiantly start off slow, and like you said start off with a tame, but yet quick for the money & go with the ra. i'm one of the newbies with a mitsubishi car as i have never owned one until now. from the time i was 16 yrs old and being 23 yrs old now, i only had a nissan car, so this is deffiantly new to me as the ralliart is a TOTALLY different engine then what i am used to, and i think you should get use to the way the engine is and then, if you have the money then i say go for the evo next. i see a lot of ppL jumping at an evo with having no idea how quick and fast those beasts really are and up killing themselves or wrecking and totaling a nice car. just my opinion though.

Well my Mitsu this car is my 1st TOO and I think that it's way fast but not too fast or fast like an evo FAST so that's a good thing and to be fast enough can be enough because SOMETIMES i might want to change lanes like when im in the traffic or go around the school bus before they stop cause when they stop and put out of the stop signs then we all gotta stop and stopping is NOT cool, I think in my book YES.
