tinting in the winter??
well i just got my 04 RA the day after thanksgiving and sure enough it descides to snow. what can i do about tinting window in the winter. worried about water in the film and window freezing and wrecking the tint job. any help please

well i was told buy a guy that you can get them tinted im wanting to do a 2 layer tint but im going to wait till summer that way i dont have to wait the 30 plus days for my windows to dry out as he put it im just going to work on my other mods then when spring hits im going to do the tint then it can be done though during the winter months will just take longer for the water to dry

First off, window tint takes 3 or 4 days to cure - not 30. If you go to a good shop they will give you a warranty. If they think its too cold and it won't work, they won't do it. I don't know where you are, but if you bring it in the morning and they leave it in the shop all day, you should be able to take it home and be ok.
we do window tinting at my work it is all done in a controlled environment, also use a high quality film. by the time you pick up your car most of the water will be gone. any body in the fort walton beach area that needs window tinting done we use computer cut software which enables us to do any custom tinting. every thing is cut by computer so no knives or ugly edges.

Getting them tinted in the winter just takes a little longer to cure (couple more days). I used to tell people to wait 7-10 days to roll down the windows or clean them, just to be safe. If you get a warranty, this shouldn't be a problem.

= 150 bucks
20% windshield visor banner
= 30 bucks
altogether = 180 bucks. with warranty
