EVO 8 front end
EVO 8 front end
I have already searched for this and came up with nothing. Does anyone know if the evo front end will fit on the ralliart? IM talking fenders hood lights and bumper. If so. Where can i get it besides the dealership $$$?
I do not think it would fit. The RA's track and wheelbase is different then the Evo which means the suspension geometry is different. And if all that stuff is different then that means the sub frame is different.....so....all those things probably won't be do able...not unless you want to buy the stuff and get alot of custom fabrication done to it to make it all work. With enough money ANYTHING is possible.
Plain and simple, the EVO 8 is a different car compared to a regular Lancer, different body shape and engine (4wd transmission etc). But i'm sure if you cut down the bumper enough or reshape it you could make it fit, that would be an interesting modification...
The only place I can think of would be scrap yard. BUT chance's are...if the car is there then its front end anyways. You could always try finding after market fenders, hood, and bumper...used if you want to cut down on cost.
Do a search for that...the headlights though you can probably get from the scrap yard...

not to sound harsh, but you must not of searched well cause I already replied to this question once this week...the Evo front end will not fit on a Lancer without major fabrication work...the front ends are significantly different in length width and contour...someone, I think on this forum, priced it out and it was a little over $7000 with labour.

nah even still check out the set-up of an 8 and a ralliart, totally opposite. big cha-chang ($$$) to convert to an 8, i think the ralliart looks aggresive stock, but if there needs to be a change, check out www.body-kit.com, accolade has one kit, don't remember the name, but whoa, in the pics, i think its a white ralliart, dont take my word go check it out!
