Prolly just need a cap, it keeps a more constant flow of power.... try it out, it will probably fix your problem.

what impedance are you running the sub at? Even if you're at 4 ohms, 500 watts is still probably a little much without a cap. Are your lights dimming when the bass is pounding? If so, you'd probably need to get a cap.

I've never run that much power on stock batteries. The most I ever did was 350 watts @ 2 ohms, and that was just fine with a stock batt, no cap.

I took it in to them warrenty and all so I dont know what its running at im pretty sure its at 4ohm and he charged my batt and it worked fine at low volume I cranked it up and all the lights in the car dimmed bad but he said a cap would only be like putting a bandaide on it and i needed a beefier battery in it I think the amp right now putting out 750 rms

Agreed. One more thing...make sure they check the alternator, I have heard of stories when a bad alternator can't reproduce enough power quickly enough to fill the battery back up. If that's working fine, just go get an optima battery, and you should be set.
