suggest using new wires, cause old ones are not big enough (gauge), also amp is under drivers seat.

Yep. You dont need to worry about adapters, other then maybe the wire harness adapter. Even that may be a awaste of time and money. You might as well replace all the speaker wires, RCA's to the new amp, HU ground wires......rewire the whole thing. Other then the maybe the stock stereo power lines.

You gotta get the sound system with the sunroof, they don't offer the two independently from each other.

If you're replacing all that, you might as well replace the speakers while you're at it. The stockers won't last long on an aftermarket amp.

They're not the same type of quality you'd find in an off-the-shelf infinity speaker. They're designed to work at the power level of the stock amp, which isn't very much. I guess it would all depend on how much power you're going to try to push to them. I doubt the stock amp puts more than 25w out per speaker.

A better idea would be to do as stated above, just buy an amp for the subs and keep the stock amp for the rest of the speakers. It'd be easier on your wallet.

I kept the factory amp to run my surrounds, a new HU makes a world of diff. i am running to pioneer 12's on a kenwood 1000watt amp. sounds great.

Personally i'd just replace the whole thing.. you're spending the cash to do all that, why not go the "whole 9 yards".... But that's just my opinion. I'm waiting till next summer to redo my system, it's all going and a new system is coming in. Good luck, and when you get it set up post some pictures!!

Well I know I got a sun roof and I haven't seen anything in the form of a amp or sub but I sure as hell hope that is a run roof above my head SO i throw out the question. is it the same head unit in the sun and sound package as stock?
