road race evo 8 wing

i'm just curious as to why they make it all out of fiberglass? they have carbon trix if they wanted to why not get them to make te center blade out of CF or at least wrap the FG blade i CF? not complaining but it just piqued my cuiosity.

cause carbon fiber would double the cost and it's much more time consuming

They'll take the job.. i mean body shops have to deal with body kits and stuff, a spoiler would be nothing to them... cept this spoiler might take more detail work.. but it shouldn't be that bad.

yes the CF is quite costly and so is the process for the wrap.

Does anyone know if you have to drill 2 extra holes like the other evo 8 wings? Cuz rrm website says it bolts directly to your original wing holes..

If you have patience, just wait for the next Evo wreck. That's probably the most inexpensive way to get a factory wing, and everyone knows that the wing never breaks in a wreck. Have to act quickly, though, that's usually the first part people pounce on.

why not purchase an evo8 wing from ACCOLADE, then purchase some carbon fiber twill sheets from ebay wrap the center piece tight.. glue the seams on the underside.. and have it clear coated.
