Got Paint Swirls Out!

Not much to do today so I bought Meguiars NXT Tech Wax and did up the RA. To my surprise, it got rid of the paint swirls that have been there since I got the car. Real pleased with the stuff. ANyone else use it?

Yes, It's awesome stuff, I have a friend who has a blue Evo (PRVRT) and it took the swirls out for a while. And it leaves the car very slick. My silver Evo has also been waxed using NXT and it does an awesome job. Leaves the car slick as Ice.

i use it. lasts oter a month if u use a coat of meguiars carnuba first and use ntx as the top coat =) their carnuba is just as easy to apply as the nxt, too. looks hot. takes 2x as long to put on, but lasts 6x as long.

Yep, good stuff. I've been using in since the first month I had the car. In the summer, I use their spray-on booster wax inbetween and it lasts a while longer.

you guys ever use like an orbiter or pouter cable to detail you car? it makes life much easier and does the job ten times better. i use the pouter cable to remove oxidation at a certain rpm speed after the car has been washed. than take it off than use a gloss/polisher type thing 2nd sstep than use wax... i use 3m and mothers products.. the car looks like it came out of the factory.. don't want to say showroom cause showroom has swirl marks.. using all this by hand takes forever and is harder to get it perfect or like removal of swirl marks and etc

I use an orbiter when I detail other people's cars (occasionally friends/family pay me to do their cars, good cash on the side). On my own, however, I prefer to do it by hand. I enjoy it, and to me it's worth the extra time to get it right.

I agree Otter. I've been tempted to by an orbiter/polisher but I really enjoy doing it by hand. Besides, with my expertise and Mitsu's crappy paint job I'd likely rub the paint right off with something big and eletric/mechanical lol

Ok, I understand that the swirls come from wiping in a circular motion, but if you have the NXT stuff, wouldn't you need to appy that in a circular motion as well creating more swirl marks?? correct my logic if I'm wrong.
