OK, I finally installed my Accolade 'painted' eyelids. It was fairly easy...
just applied strips of 3M double sided foam tape to the back, peel, and stick.
Just make sure you line up real good the first time, or you're screwed,
that stuff is STICKY!!!

looks good. i love mine too. had mine on for nearly 7 months already and they still look awesome and the 3M tape rules. got mine painted for free too, muaaaaahahahha, gotta love the hook ups.

 

rydog your eyelids look awesome. it makes me wish i got my car in white cause the black headlights stand out better. eyelids are the best show mod short of a bodykit for 04s.

 

thanks twisty, i'm pretty happy with how they look too. and i totally agree, the eyelids are such an inexpensive way to completely change the look of your car for the better.

 

i used 3m Foam tape.. its thiner than the other 3m double sided.. and still works as well..

 

WOW! It makes your car go from..."mommy thats a cute car" to "WTF is that thing!!!"....

 

nice rims too bro.. im trying to look for a rim with thicker lips... and a red polish on it. ^^

 

yeah that 3m tape is amazing ive had mine on for a while now and they stay stuck on through carwashs and high speed driving.

Never been a fan of eyelids, unless you have a body kit or its lowered, just doesnt look right. But just as long as you are happy thats all that matters!

 

I'm not a fan of eyelids on cars that don't need them. Like the 03 Lancer, Skyline, Silvias, etc... However they do look good on the Lancer thanks to Mitsubishi's gay wannabe Focus headlights.
