yeah, the sheilds are needed to decreass the glare, and the bulb are fine, i made the shield from a 1" dia chrome pipe cust in half lengh ways, and used half on each housing

i made the glare shields and the bulbs were not touched, just installed as is

My Hids are going to be temp, until i can find teh time to do a custom Projector install on the Factory Housing.

i was thinking... couldn't... we possibly take the projector housing of a focus... and mod it to fit ours?

I just need the projectors and i'm set....but i have alot to learn before i cut my housing apart to mount the projectors.

www.HIDPLANET.COM there forum has a ton of info.

take the projector set out of the focus headlights and get a set of oem lancer RA lights... and fab the Focus projectors into the spare set? would look nice if done right.

i want to use bmw or audi projectors, the quality is better from what i have been reading. i just have to wait for some extra cash to come in before going to the local junk yard.
