I don't think there are any mudflaps that are a direct fit for our car... but maybe with a little modification, you could get these to fit?

The only ones I know of that are direct fit are the OEM ones you can get from your dealership or www.mitsubishi-parts.net

Other ones can probably be modified to fit without much trouble.

These would take some modification for sure especially on the rear.

Yeah, wild_child and I we looked at these and for his car (he went for the rally look) and it's not gonna bolt right up, I can assure you. In fact, he decided to have them custom made instead... and it was cheaper too!

you want mudguards or mudflaps?
mudguards you have to get from factory....don't know the price because never want to put mudguards on my ride
mudflaps you can get the one for Evo 7/8 should fit......but they are very costly...the cheapest I saw is $100 ...& some are more than $400...I've been looking for the mudflaps too....especially the one with the word "RALLIART" on it, it's very rare!!

I have a set of black mudflaps... They have "RALLI///ART" written on the bottom in white... If someone's interested me they can PM me... I don't have any pictures and haven't listed it in the "for sale" section... If someone doesn't give me an offer, they're just going to go in there!!!

Nope, you have to modify them because the screw holes are not at the same place (some aren't even near!). It's especially true on the back... but the front is not an instant fit either.

it's just a matter of drilling holes right?

Yeah, but then you're left with a mudflap with apparent holes (you may not care that much though) ... but I would be a lot more worried that drilling holes in the plastic of the mudflap can lead to early cracking. Some materials cannot be drilled through without causing micro-tears... most of the time when the stuff is hardened through a high-heat process.

But hey, it might also come out very nicely and be as durable as if it was made for the RA.

well i figured my friend has some extra sheet metal lying around (thin stuff) if i can glue a plate cutout with predrilled holes (through the plate and the mudflap) maybe it'll support it nicely. And the metal plate will probably be inbetween the mudflap and the bumper...

i don't know, it's just an idea.

Not a bad idea actually... if you put the plate after the mudflap though (you hold the mudflap on the body by adding the plate before you insert the screws). It would have to be painted black... but this would be a really good way of installing them. That way they're not going anywhere for sure... and I can't see the plastic cracking either, because now the pressure between the plate and the body prevents the lateral stress in the material.

Nice bit of thinking there... and you know what? You just might have solved a home improvement problem I was having the other day too!
