Ok, lately ive been thinking about getting a few decals put on my ride, but im a bit standoff-ish because, I don't want people to joke at my car. Late last year, I went to my local import shop and had a graphic decal custom made for me. It turned out well and I like it, but I thought it was too gody, and decide not to put it on (it's sitting in my closet still)

Anyways, I think I wanna scrap the MIVEC SS Decal and go with something more subtle... like have a smaller version of MIVEC on both my door panels. I know some people put the name of there intake on there windows or side skirt, but I was thinking about putting HKS on my door panel aswell.

So far I only have one decal and that's "evolutionM.net" on my rear upper window, gotta rep evoM . Question is, is the new decal layout gonna be rice (no dissrespect intended)? That's what holding me back from doing this. It's only gonna be 2 decals on both the front door panels.

 

I put a rollcall on my ES and love it. I don't care if it's rice or not because I like it. It also gets a lot of positive attention. Whenever I drive by someone I always see them reading what I have.

As long as you only put brands that you have on your car I think its fine.

 

That's my opinion too. If it's done right, I think it can work. Herez my decals.

 

I am interested too in doing a Mivec decal for the skirts or a door panel. Something small, like the VTech boys have. I was following that thread from the start, in hopes that I could get in on a group buy, if it turned out nice. I was thinking a grey "MIVEC" or a grey "MIVEC2.4L" would look nice on the skirts, in front of the rear tire wells, of my black RA.

I've got Road/Race on the windshield, that's about it...people wh are Lancer'y' always wonder where to get parts, especially Ralliart guys...though I've ordered only a few things from RRM, they do a lot of positive thing for us and pimp them whenever possible. :P

 

Of course im not gonna put a decal of something I don't have on my car, and just to think... I was gonna put my honda vTEC banner on my front windshield...

I think the decal thing is a great personal touch to a vehicle. you will never see 2 roll call kits or locations of a decal that are similar or in the same order or size. I put a magnaflow exhaust decal toward my rear wheels on the sideskirts and they look great there. I have a pair of AEM decal coming because i got their CAI recently and i will probably do something for the new rims. I obly caution people to not put decals on that advertise your audio setup . I live in NY and thievery here is rampant. I say be bold with your ride. There is a word for people who joke and it is 'HATERS'. I have one at my workplace and he always has something to say about my ride or someone elses yet he drives and old beat up wrnagler that is his sisters. Get the point. your ride is your own - make it that way!!!!!

is it just me or do you have your foglights on w/out your headlights on??? If so how did you do it???

It just looks that way... my headlights are on too, for some reason, you can't tell in the pic?!

 

Its normal for that angle. I watched from the upstairs my wife come in the driveway, it barely looks like the headlights are on from that same kind of angle.

 

Ditto... I have two little tiny red University of Utah decals and a Car Concepts decal on my back window and a small Car Concepts one on my front, they did my stereo system for a ton less money then it would normally cost... I think the rollcalls look awesome, if I had enough cool things done, I'd have one. I want an EvoM decal, but they're so freaking expensive that I'm waiting to figure out a way to make one myself (window peel stuff).

 

I hate those dealership stickers. Thankfully Poway Mitsubishi didn't put any on my Lancer.

I suppose small decals wouldn't look bad. I got two white Injen decals with my cold air intake. I didn't put them on, cause I think it would look stupid to have just one, but also white wouldn't show up well on a silver car. I kind of like those shiny metallic decals with thick black outline though.
