since i have the evo 8 wing, i have no 3rd brake light. so i just got the idea of turning my rear Mitsu diamond star into a functional 3rd brake light. weve all see the gay hondas with their light up H's of different colors. well i just want my mitsu simbol red and i can do the wiring, i just need to know if anybody makes a emblem with lights in it. if anybody knows where to get one that would be cool. but i need it red. thanks!

 

Interesting idea. An idea for doing it would be to make a mitsu logo out of clear acrylic, then put a LED behind each diamond. Finally, get some vinyl overlay material and put that over the diamonds.

 

nah to me that's too much work for somthing that's not even garanteed to work, i just mounted my original 3erd brake light from my OEM wing to the inner roof portion of my car and it works fine, it's just mounted at the top of the rear windshield inside.

 

great, only prob is i sold my stock wing....

 

1. if it's "gay" in the honda world, why copy them?
2. I would check the laws in your state, but around here, the third brake light has to be "high mounted" (i.e. mounted OVER the two stop lights)
