how much smaller is the EVO wheel compared to the Lancer's? I want one, but i mean i don't want to spend the cash on looks... If the radius of the wheel was smaller i'd be up for getting one, but i do admit it looks nice.
I asked the evo guys what the diameter of the evo steering wheel is, but they arent too helpful over there. Alls I know (according to daddymac) is our steering wheel diameter is about 14.5 inches. Thats pretty big.
Bruce -- It's a bit smaller, probably 13.5-14 inches.
As for the black "IX" Momo, it looks great in the IX, but in our cars, the aluminum matches the shifter panel, so it looks really smooth, although I know BLK is all CF'd out in his Ralliart...
And BTW, That's a awesome price for that wheel. I paid that used for mine!
Just remember, pull the old wheel off SLOWLY... I made a little mess of my clock spring, and was lucky I didn't have to replace the whole thing.

The only con I can see is that it's slightly more heavy then stock... but maybe this aides in turning? Either way, it's only a 1-2lbs more. Oh yeah, you also lose the cruise control.
I'm outta town now. I'll post picz this weekend.
p.s. It was a B-I-T-C-H getting the allen screw loose to take the wheel off. I had to put a breaker bar on my driver and prayed it wouldn't break the wrench or strip the bolt!
