So I am guessing it is only activated @ WOT.....hence the pedal switch?

activated at wot but controled by the window switch so if the system is off and im at wot it wont come on... the window switch activates it at 3100 and shuts it off at 7100 and shuts it off when shifting so i just have to worry about driving and not to let go of the pedal...

good luck on it but i dont think xez make a setup for our car... last time i checked they didnt i could be wrong....
remember they do a system direct fit 'non invasive" no butchering requierd... so i dont know if they have figured out our car yet...

This won't happen if you release the pressure in the fuel lines first. I am not picking on you, just trying to help the next semi-pro (like me) mechanic out.

To release the pressure remove the fuel pump fuse and crank the car for fifteen seconds or so. Walla! Oh, and I would still put out that butt

well im guessing the wet/dry kits are pretty universal. the direct port is probably the tricky one as far as made for our car. does direct port use the fuel injecors as the source for injecting nitrous into the cylinders? im quite new to nitrous so forgive my noobness. most likely im getting a wet kit since im not doing any hardcore racing anyways, just wanting it from time to time for the occaisonal race and track. i should pick a cheaper hobby.....

you can do a dry direct port but it is suicide....
the wet system is overall safer and the fuel get to it by a distribution "thingy" (dont know the word) to all of the foggers...
IF yuo go direct port you WILL need to upgrade the fuel system... injectors, fuel pump ect...

Hey that's a much nicer setup than my low buck approach! Why the +3 on your fuel jet? With the fuel rail tapped you shouldn't have a fuel shortage. Were you leaning out on your dyno runs? I was running on the rich side w/ my setup and lost a little power but had the "correct" jets for my NX system. I know that you're nowhere near newb status but you might want to dyno it to get an idea of where the A/R is again before track time. Otherwise that's one nice setup! I see you tapped off the fuse block too! I couldn't find a better location myself, let me know if your arming switch gets hot from the load, mine did.

That sounds like the ideal setup for NAWS. Now you just need to get one....no two of the big bottles.....and I need it by tonight! I couldn't resist a little F&F reference!
Very pimp indeeeeeed.

actually this is where most peole get their ideas of Nitrous from. Stupid *** movies who falsely show the use of Nitrous "exploding" wich is imposible to happen. my passanger floor is perfectly fine and im not worried about it flying off when i juice it up.

the +3 on the fuel jet is for safety a little bit more rich.... more rich less boom

the arming switch does not get hot at all..

so correct me if i'm wrong and i probably am, but if doing a direct port dry kit is suicide, then wouldn't paul walker be using a very dangerous kit in his car? i'm sorry i know nothing about nos but i just think ff is hilarious

no direct port is the safest. wet is second safest, and dry is the least safe of the all the kits. With direct port the fuel and nitrous mixture goes directly into your cylinders at even amounts to give the correct power throughout all cylinders. while wet and dry your shooting the nitrous fuel/ nitrous into your intake manifold and past your valves and then into your cylendors for detination.

my theory of why people are blowing more engine with nitrous than turbo kits is becuase nitrous is extremely cheap that most people can have access to it, hence more people who dont know what theyre doing and mess up. while as turbo kits are very expensive and only people who trully know what they want and can afford it will go that direction to get forced induction. if nitrous and turbo were the same costs theoretically they would be just as safe/unsafe compared to each other.

nope.. people blow up with nitro because sometime they dont know squat of what they are doing.. example be putting a fogger in the stock airbox/intake, not retarding the timing, using hot sparkplugs ect...
