Accolade you really need to make the top grille the same shape as the Evo IX, otherwise it will look silly.

Instead of the curvy smile, it needs to be the more angular style from the Evo IX.

You can count me as a buyer, if it ends up looking like a narrowbody 'replica' of the Evo IX front bumper.

That is pure genius that you choose my opinions for me. Plain simple, my opinion is that the evo 9 bumper on a lancer looks terrible. The evo 9 bumper on the evo 9 looks great! Whether it be the headlights or whatever, it still does not look good to me. Wow we are thinking.

At first i wasnt feeling the bumper we did, but after the chop and maybe eyelids i think it would look really hot.. give us some time to work on it, thank you for the constructive criticism it always helps us develop a better part.. Accolade designs parts that you want and like, all others make the part and expect you to buy them without any insight.

With the chop it looks a little better. Maybe a possible lip to give it just a little more aggresive edge. Eyelids are a plus!

definately make the grill more squared rather than the dorky smile it has now. Thats one reason why i lost interest in the evo 8 kit. But this bumper is hot.

Yeah make the top part (Grill things) less round. Make it closer to an Evo9 where its less angular. Basically like an evo7 but round out the corners of the grill. This evo9 kit will look damn amazing on a 02-03 lancer for sure and 04-06 lancers with eyelids! GO ACCOLADE!

BTW u can count on me as a buyer too if it turns out like a true replica.

That is way too wide of a grille imo. /\ I was thinking the grille shape on the 06 ralliart would fit nicely..

that would be spot on the money then if it had the 06 grill... if you guys need one to be test fitted send one to the land down under... more than happy to have this on my car

I know it is only early days yet but how long does it take to make them up from design concept to being able to physically have it available for sale...

Yep, I'm now officially very interested in this after being more than pleased with the License Plate Relocated Bumper in terms of design, fitment and quality!

With the 06 style top grille on there, and then mesh can be put on and the proper Evo 9 mitsu badge can be put on and with an intercooler behind that bottom grille it will look hot!

I hope they make it a trure Evo9 replica, as in no 06 lancer grill look. The 06 lancer grill looks great compare to 04-05 models but this is a evo conversion and a lancer grill will not do.

Well so far from the constant emails that I have been sending this gentleman and the way the have openly spoken about there development and how long it will take from time of designing, making the mold, and actually putting it in production, then getting it delivered to were it has to go. I am more than satisfied that they will not fail to deliver what they say

Thank you very much for the warning but I will still go ahead with the purchase I believe that they have more success stories than tragedy stories so I will look at the tragedies as a noisey minority, but if they become too difficult to deal with and there timing is too far out of whack or unreasonable and if the product is badly damaged or poor quality etc then yes I will become part of the noisey minority

Haha if accolade sent me a ****ty part / broken / doesnt fit, i would head down to cali and show them that i really dont mess around and i would make there business a living nightmare. On the other hand, if there product is average or better ill help there business out and refer them. We;ll see though.
