carbon fiber and silver...

for those that have the silver ra, how do you feel about the whole carbon fiber and silver look??? i was thinking about getting the fibgerglass front lip from rrm and painting it sliver and then getting front and side carbon fiber splitters with a carbon fiber hood from street concepts...i just dont want it to look cheesy...

Personally I think the whole cf thing always looks cheesy(when not painted to match the car), except on a black car as it's blacka nd kind of matches, but that's just me.

However on Speed I seen a show one time where they had a silver Jetta that they put on a silver cf hood(not painted, the cf was silver). it looks pretty funky, gave the hood a real shimmer in the light. Not sure what that sort of thing woud cost though.

I think it was Sport Compact Tuner Challance or something like that, there 3 teams, the Jetta, a Cobalt, and something else...

Silver and CF is nice. but you need to balance the tones between the front to the rear....

PS: I have noticed that in some threads there is the '+1' reply.....I know it means good but what is the lingo behind it?

The +1 is basically saying that you agree with the last person, but don't want to write a post saying pretty much the exact same thing over again so "+1"

I have a silver RA and i do have RRMs carbon hood. I LOVE the look of carbon and silver and plan on getting trunk lid as soon as a shaved carbon one comes out. Ill try to post some pics if you want but it will take me a few lol to get them up on here. My car is in peices as i am currently getting my body kit ready to be put on and have left the front, rear, and sides off lol. If you want picks ill get you some but wont look good with those pieces missing.

I don't like slivers, no matter if they're CF or not, so I changed the title to correct the spelling.
