Well Ive always had an idea of putting like a 2.4 emblem either on the sides near the side markers or one in place on the lancer emblem on the trunk. My friend has a 3.9 one on his mustang and it looks awesome For him he chose to sport the size of his engine indicating that its a v6 that will kick *** instead of a v8. For a RA its like how the mazda3 has the se 2.3 which is faster than base models telling racers that somethings up. *btw dont underestimate those because they are pretty quick(hard to believe)* For car enthausiests who actually kno their cars they would kno that the Es, OZ and the Evo are 2.0L and when they see a car that looks the same but with a 2.4 emblem indicating the size of the engine then they would be like WTF What kind of Lancer is that??? Wonder how quick it is?? You kno??

Well jst an idea im debating on, and I need inputs on good or bad.

 

This is the badge that Diavlo has on his car and I love it. Definitely something I would sport on my car.

It looks like the letters are 3/4" tall so I'm not sure how long "MIVEC" would be. Just throwing out the options though.

It looks like his "2.4" is the same size as the ones sold on the site you posted, or do you think his are a bit bigger?

 

They do look close but I'm pretty sure his are bigger. I'm thinking that the size of these are going to be about the size of the "LANCER" badge that comes on our cars. I debadged my trunk or else I would go measure it real quick. Just run out to your car real quick and see if the "LANCER" badge is about 3/4" tall. I was thinking about ordering a badge from them that says "2.4L MIVEC" and splitting it so that the "2.4L" is where the "LANCER" used to be and then putting the "MIVEC" where the "RALLIART" used to be. The only thing that is holding be back from doing it is that I want black badges instead of chrome. I will probably just order them and paint them.

 

The lancer letters are a bit smaller than the letters on that site. I might put "2.4" under the lancer, and "mivec" under the ralliart. I wonder how that would look? Are you going to spray the mitsu diamond black as well?

 

No, I got the black vinyl overlays from shiroboi for them. They look great and they are only $5 shipped to your door. He gives you four of them. 2 for the front and 2 for the back just in case you mess up. The back is slightly smaller than the front. I took one of the larger ones and cut it down for the back badge and then I took the other two and put them under my side marker. Here's a few crappy cell phone pics that I took of them. Kind of hard to see the back one but you get the point.

I got a set of 4 red ones on ebay and it was 2 that were a little smaller then front, and 2 that were a little smaller then the back. i have to get some pics of my car up....
