IX Front Emblem Removal?

K Ive searched around and see that nobody has figured out a clean way to take off the front emblem from the IX bumper grill. I removed mine by unscrewing it but of course it leaves an ugly bracket behind the grill.
Does anybody have a solution for this?

No I WILL NOT paint a mitsu badge black and put it on there, thats hideous.
Does Mitsubishi sell the bumper grill with that bracket welded on or can I buy a whole new grill there thats clean without the bracket..? We have to think of something.!

you have to grind it down and then replace the mesh if you want.

Well like said you gotta get rid of the bracket holding the emblem and get a mesh for the front bumper that protects the intercooler then you go ahead and cut it out to the same piece as on your grill....

I don't think it looks awful with the bracket on, but it seems like a bit of work removing it. Could always paint it?

this has been wanted for awhile. I can do it but I can't source the mesh yet. no one seems to sell plastic mesh. I found metel that looks the same but it would need to be powder coated to hold up. then it would be to expensive.
