Steering wheel swap?

Thinking about putting the black momo wheel from the ix in my viii. How hard is this swap? The wheel from the ix is missing the airbag so i would need to pull mine from the viii. Is this a pain in #$$ or what? I'm thinking this might be a job for the bodyshop because i know playing with airbags can get dangerous. What do you guys think?

I would say take it to a shop.

Yes its dangerous, and secondly if you got into an accident and the airbags didnt deploy, you would be in a world of pain..... or worse.

Take it to the pros.

Better yet, get rid of the VIII and keep the IX! =P

+1 on having a body shop change the steering wheel. You don't want that damn airbag blowing up in your face when you are trying to install the parts.

Dude just get some flat black paint, Tape it off, and paint the parts that are black on a nine wheel lol very easy. and very cheap......

6 bucks for paint
3 bucks for tape
50 cents for a newspaper

Nine steering wheel = 200+ dollars
