I am planning on removing the lancer and ralliart badges from the trunk, and replacing them with 2.4 and mivec instead. Is this stupid at all in your honest opinion? Remember, if you think it is stupid please give a reason. Thanks.

Or would it be better to put 2.4 under lancer, and mivec under ralliart? Thanks.

Sorry no pics. It will look good, im just wondering if it is one of those things that is kinda stupid to do in each of your opinions.

I mean, something might look good, but at the same time might be a dumb idea or change to someone. Here is an example....

The evo spoiler on a ralliart might look nice which it does in my opinion, but at the same time I see it as a stupid and bad idea because it makes the ralliart look like it is trying to look like an evo in my opinion. So it looks nice, but it's a bad idea in my opinion so I wouldn't want it.

It's your car if you like it do it. Who cares if other people think it's a dumb idea.

 

Ralli, the only way for you to know if it'll look good is ot try it....if you do it and like it, then good for you, if you end up not liking it, you can always remove it.

If you plan to put the 2.4 and mivec on either way, maybe start by first temporarily placing them under the lancer and RA badges to see if you like it, if you don't, remove the stock badges and again temp mount them and see if you like that.

Either way it's your car, do what you like.

Personally I don't really see the point in removing the stock badges just to replace them with other ones, but I've never seen it done so who's to say it won't look good.

There's only 1 way to know for sure.

 

I think it sounds cool. And creative. Do what you think will be cool, dont listen to us. Do what you think looks cool and makes u feel good =D. Dude im the same way as you though. I Dont know who in there right mind would want to make there car look like an evo. Dont get me wrong evo's look hot, but a ralliart isnt an evo. Make it look different +1

personally i think the lancer symbol looks cheap and tacky, i debadged the ralliart as well because i thought of putting a aftermarket ralliart one
but after looking at it from far, i love the much cleaner look, even the mitsu symbol is gone (someone stole it)
remember its up to you, if you like it do it, why does it matter what other people think?ive give 2 ****s about what others think, im not out to impress other people, only doing what I LIKE.

^+1000...I like the clean look. If anything take the existing badges off and put the two new ones on, don't put them on in addition to the badges already there. Just my opinion.

Why dont you just take a pic of your tail end, and photoshop it. You could try all kinds of diffrent fonts and styles that way. I would like to see some of your ideas. Sounds interesting.

 

Badgless is always nice...cleans it up good, but then sometimes it's nice ot leave the badge on so then when you trounch some guy with "VTEC" or "TYPE R" he can see, and go "Wow that's a fast...huh, Ralliart ...wow "

or If you wait 15 years untill the car isn't everywhere on the road you might get the joy of looking in the rearview to mirror, at a red light, to see the person behind you leaning forward, squinting, trying to read the badge and going "What the F_ is that...? "...I love that look
