Evo VIII Front end conversion on a 04' RA?

Is this possible? Ive searched and found nothing. I'd like to know if it's just a matter of bolting up the headlights/ hood/ fenders. I really like the evo front end, and recently got in a little fender bender and figure... why not upgrade? Thanks in advance guys.

accolade has an evo 8 front bumper, but if yer askin about puttin on an actual evo bumper wit the headlights and hood, I'm assuming you'd have to do a lot of modifications, but I'm not sure, but I doubt you could just bolt it all on. for the accolade bumper go to body-kit.com

I don't think anyone has tried it, simply because it'd look like crap to have a widebody front end and a regular rear.

Wont work. My evo's chasis is wider, as is the radiator support. The length from the base of the windshield to the tip of the hood is also shorter on an Lancer vs the evo. If you like the looks of the evo, Im sure you can get a used one for close to what you pay on the Lancer.

i've seen pics of it done. someone, not from evom, has done the whole front end evo 8 conversion on an ES. he switched everything out from the bumpers, headlights, hood, fenders and possibly even more. i'm not sure how much all that cost him but it definitely didnt look cheap. i think it was on prostreetonline.com. i will try to find some of his pics.

here is the site. its pretty cool how he did it but then again this guy must have put a crapload of work trying to piece this thing together. in the end after all that money, u still only have a car with the evo looks and the engine of an ES.

did he mod the rear as well? cause I think it would look pretty weird to me wit the front end wider than the rear end.

Cool pics and nice work on the conversion. From what I have seen and did studies on you can go buy the headlights, front fenders ect and they all should bolt right on. The WHOLE LANCER line has the same frame just that the evos FENDERS are wider nothing else. If you wish to argue with me let me know and ill find the web sight with the info and post it up. Soooo in short you can purchase all that stuf and have a FRONT conversion but like said above. The rear would look wierd. Looks to me he bought after market fenders ect soooo you might be able to go that rought or find one off these guys that thinks the evo in invincible and recked the **** out off it and grab what you can off it for cheap it there parting it out ect. Just a though man and good luck on it if you decide to do it.

there is actually a guy on cardomain that says that he has a 04 ES and that he did the whole Evo conversion from front to rear but if i were to do the whole evo 8 conversion i would go with the stock fenders cause they are not as wide as the chargespeed fenders that he has and i think that it would look better just cause those fenders are to wide
