It's ZEX not NOS. NOS is a brand of a nitrous kit but a lot of people always call the nitrous kits NOS no matter who makes them. I'm not sure why.

My question is, when did ZEX start making a kit for our car? I was looking into an NX setup because they are universal but I would much rather have a ZEX kit if they are making them for our cars now.

most zex kits are universal cept the mustang ones.i have the 80211# zex kit. im using a 55 shot atm. i installed it myself, why would i pay for someone to do it? took 3 hours to install.
the downpipe cost 60$ and the hi-flow cat was 40$. so total was like 100.61$ after taxes.

How much did the kit cost? Do you have it set to a pedal switch so it comes on at WOT or do you have to fire it manually. Did you have to adjust the fuel for a 55 shot? Sounds like fun, have you used it yet?

And last question, how much does it cost and where do you get that tank refilled?

I think most of today's kits come with the WOT sensor to make them as safe as possible. I'm not sure about the ZEX kit but the NX kit's intake injector has two nipples on the outside, one for fuel and one for nitrous, so that you get equal delivery and atomization of both without having to tune the system.

I've checked in with the shop I go to for dyno runs and it's $2.50 a pound to get it from them.

ZEX doesnt use the WOT switch. you hook up this one white wire to your TPS wire on ur ecu and the brain knows when your flooring it or not. its alot easier and safer than having to make a attachment to rig up the WOT swtich. its about 2$ a pound for n2o. the kit was 450$ shipped brand new on ebay. and i got a free tshirt. i got a dry kit and the zex kit automatically adjusts fuel/nitrous mixture.

Can you by chance post a sound clip?

Edit: Also what highflow cat did you go with, and where'd you buy it from?

Why do people call tissue paper "Kleenex"? It's brand association, NOS is a brand people see and hear about, ergo NOS equates to nitrious...

With that said let me frist to say

"Oh SNAP, NAWWWWWWSSSSSS"

Sorry, had to do it...
