Lancer RA JDM Evo9 Bumper - ACCOLADE

Hey everyone.

I just received a quote from ACCOLADE for the Evo9 front bumper replacement for 04-06 RalliArt's and was wondering if anyone could share their experiences with them (Accolade, that is)...

They quoted me $550 USD including shipping to Canada for just the bumper.

Is this a decent price for the part ?

I am just considering ordering the ENTIRE Evo9 kit from RRM for $799 + shipping....so the above price for 1 piece seemed a little high.

Anyone care to comment ?

thanks.
Allan

I don't know about lancers but from former evo threads I wouldn't go with anything that's through accolade. Just me though...

It looks like Diavlo from the forum here has the same hood and bumper that I am considering ordering, as I just PM'd him.

I was checking out the Show/Shine threads, when I noticed a familiar car:

Accolade are using his car on their website......so who better to ask then him

Any other info from guys with experience is also greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

hey just wondering if you got the price for shipping from RRM? casue i know accolade gives the the total price including shipping so you know how much it is. just wondering casue i live in canada too and shipping can be pretty expensive so 550 doesn't sound so bad but i'd suggest getting the whole kit from either comlpany cause you'll want to get it later on anyways and you don't want to pay for shipping twice.

both kits look great imo so it doesn't really matter which one you choose. they both use fg so it's basically which ever style you decide and of course which fit your budget better. good luck!

I actually want to keep the car somewhat understated.....not too busy looking.

The exterior of my RA will only ever see 4 aesthetic additions with 1 subtraction:
*Additions...
1) Lowering Kit
2) Hood
3) Front Bumper
4) 17" Rims/Tires

*Subtraction...... Rear Spoiler Delete.....

The rest of my cash is most likely going to an RRM Turbo Kit........and that will be the car completed.

I just got an email back from Accolade, better price, so it looks like I will be ordering very soon....once I chat with Diavlo that is.

The Evo 9 bumpers are by far the best they have made. Because its new I believe it comes ready to paint, although its best to prep it a bit, but its not likely to have scatches and the like in it.

I was very impressed with the rear bumper but the front one blew me away, when combined with the evo mesh, evo badge and evo plate holder.

Keep in mind we also handle all the customs to Canada, so you dont worry about anything so it is door to door no hassle..
