Brake Caliper Painting

I drive a lightning yellow Ralliart, and am planning on doing the calipers. Problem is, I can't find any paint that matches perfectly, and I'm not positive that red calipers goes with my overall yellow/black theme. Would powder coating them with the matching paint be the best option? Anyone done this?

I think you'd be better off painting them black. Yellow calipers don't look right.

Black is beautiful

You guys are brilliant, and I clearly am not. I also discovered that our calipers are cast very rough, and need to be grinded to a smoother surface to avoid dulling any color. Except for black of course. Brilliant. Thank you.

my RA is black, i did the calipers red about a month ago using the duplicolor kit. the trick is to clean the crap out of them first, and put 5 coats on. they give you tons of paint, so it's more of a patience thing really. the only time they look dull is when they're really dirty.
